Hello and thanks for visiting Dry Creek Guitars' new web-site!
Dry Creek Guitars are crafted by John O’Hanesian in his one-man workshop in Healdsburg, California.
John built his first guitar when he was eighteen, at Charles Fox’s school  in Vermont.
His first job was building mandolins and folk instruments for Bruce Anderson in Santa Cruz, CA.
He apprenticed to arch-top guitar maker David Morse, also in Santa Cruz, where he shared the shop with a young Jeff Traugott and Al Markasky, future owner of Sylvan Music.
He worked with Jon Eaton in hus busy repair shop  Woodsong’s Lutherie in Boulder, Colorado.
He launched  'Green Mountain Guitars' which evolved into a partnership with the Breedlove Guitar Company and a move to Bend, Oregon
He was Production Manager at  the C Fox Guitar Company in Healdsburg, California.
